Servicing and Repairs

We pride ourselves on taking the best possible care of our customers, offering free collection and return of vehicles from GU9, GU10, GU51 and GU52 postcodes, competitive prices and a variety of servicing options to meet your needs and budget.  All prices are inclusive of VAT and we'll do everything possible to get your car back to you on the day of collection.  

Services include MOTs, MOTs with fluid level checks and top ups, vehicle health checks, oil and filter changes, interim services, full services, mechanical and electrical repairs, paint tidy up, headlight restoration and parking sensor installation. Please see below for more details.

Depending on the time of your enquiry, we can often complete same day servicing and repairs.  Early MOT appointments are usually booked up in advance, so they may require up to four working days of notice if you ideally want us to return your car on the day of the test.  Alternatively, we can get a  later appointment at shorter notice but depending on the result may need to keep your car overnight if we have to wait for parts or there is insufficient time to complete repairs and retest that day.

MOT only

We don’t do the MOTs ourselves, but we will collect your car, take it for MOT and retest if required before returning it to you. You let us know which (if any) advisories you would like us to act upon and we can of course sort these for you prior to returning your car.
Price: £59.  Price includes collection and return of vehicle.
Note: we usually require four working days in order to book an MOT slot early enough to complete necessary repairs and return your car on the same day.

MOT and levels check

As well as taking your car for MOT, we check oil, coolant, power steering flui d, brake fluid and windscreen wash. Minimal top ups are included within this price, but a small additional charge may be made to cover greater quantities.
Price: £99 including VAT (plus top-up fluids if required). Price includes collection and return of vehicle.

Vehicle health check

Ideal before longer journeys or to give you peace of mind driving in the winter months, we check over 60 key aspects that effect the reliability and safety of your vehicle. These include: 
TYRES AND BRAKING SYSTEM: tyre tread, condition and pressures; brake pads, disks, calipers, hoses, pipes and parking brake travel.
UNDER THE BONNET: oil level, coolant strength and level, coolant hoses, brake fluid level, power steering fluid level, aux belt, pulleys and tensioners
CHARGING SYSTEM: battery, alternator (at idle and under load), charging system wiring
UNDER BODY: engine oil leaks, transmission fluid leaks, coolant leaks, subframe bushes, fuel lines, exhaust system, corrosion
SUSPENSION: top mounts, shock absorbers, springs, drop links, anti-roll bar bushes, track rods and ends, lower ball joints, control arm bushes, axle bushes
ROAD TEST: clutch operation, gearbox operation, wheel alignment.
CABIN: seat belts, door locks, blower motor operation
WARNING LIGHTS
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTING 
Price: £89 including VAT (plus top-up fluids if required).  Price includes collection and return of vehicle.

Oil and filter change

While we would always recommend an interim service if you can, we also understand that isn’t always possible. If your car is due or overdue an oil service we are able to change the oil and filter and dispose of your old oil. This is a good combination with an MOT if you can.

Price: £119* including VAT.  Price includes collection and return of vehicle.

Interim service

Includes an oil and filter service, with a 60-point vehicle health check (please see above). If your vehicle requires specialised oil* this may be reflected in an increased cost, but we’ll always endeavour to meet this price and we will always notify you before collecting the car if this is the case.

Price: £159* including VAT (plus top-up fluids if required). Price includes collection and return of vehicle.

Full Service

Includes an oil and filter service, cabin filter, air filter, fuel filter (if applicable), spark plugs (if applicable), removal and rotation of wheels front to rear (and across axles if applicable); removal, cleaning and adjustment of rear brake drums, and a 60-point vehicle health check (please see above)
Price: £300* (plus top-up fluids if required). *This is an approximate price as parts required will vary greatly according to make and model. We aim to meet or beat this price, but will be able to give a firmer quote once we have your car details. Price includes collection and return of vehicle.

Repairs

We can perform most repairs on most makes and models, including cambelts and clutches and provide all parts at heavily discounted prices, sharing our preferential trade rates with our customers.

Price: £90 per hour (including VAT).   Price includes collection and return of vehicle.

Paint tidy up and machine polish

If the exterior of your car would benefit from some attention, we can restore headlights, touch in scratches, tidy scuffs, machine polish away many paint imperfections and often significantly reduce dents.  Prices vary greatly depending on the nature of work required and whether we need to have paint made up, but most customers pay £100 or less to significantly improve the appearance of their car and reduce further deterioration of damaged areas.  If you send us pictures, or ideally a video, of the areas which require attention we can get b ack to you with our recomendations and an estimate.
Price: varied, but usually £50 to £100

Rear parking sensors installation

We can provide and install rear parking sensors for £299 including VAT (closest match to one of 30 common colours) or for an extra £25 we can buy in paint and colour match to your vehicle.  For that price we will collect your car and return it to you same day with sensors installed.
